Water in Ritual: Baptismal Gown Display at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church

Christians believe that, through water and the Holy Spirit, God delivers us from sin and death and raises us to new life in Jesus Christ.  The Christian church treasures water for a unique and sacred purpose – for the sacrament of Holy Baptism.  Bethlehem Lutheran Church is proud to partner with the Lanesboro Museum to host a display of baptismal gowns and accessories from antique to present day in conjunction with the Water/Ways exhibition.  The display is located in the narthex (west end) of the church building.
